The Royal Wedding

Future Queen chooses Alexander McQueen!! Kate Middleton looked stunning in her, ivory with lace applique floral detail, wedding dress by Sarah Burton, the head designer of British fashion house McQueen! Her sister and bridesmaid, Pippa Middleton also wore a simple yet elegant McQueen dress. The Bride wore a Cartier Tiara (borrowed from Queen Elizabeth) made in 1936.

Pictures!

All the best!

Fashion News (3)

1. Blake turns redhead

The GG star appeared with a new hairstyle in TIME's Most Influential People in the World, Gala. Personally I prefer her blonde beautiful hair! What do you think?

2. Marc Jacobs designs Marriage Equality T-shirt

With this act Marc supported the Human Rights Campaign, in order to raise awarness about discrimination in the tax code against legally married gay couples.
Front view of T-shirt: "I pay my taxes, I want my rights", showing a lesbian couple with their daughter.
Back view: " Marc Jacobs proudly supports the HRC"

3.New Balmain Designer

The French house of Balmain announced that Olivier Rousteing will succeed Christophe Decarnin.

4. What Karl wants?

When Karl Lagerferd was asked about who he thinks, Dior should peek to succeed John Galliano as head designer of the brand, Karl was very clear: "I am not a consultant there, but I think Riccardo Tisci would be good and then Haider Ackermann at Givenchy - not because they are friends of mine but because they are good"

Kate Middleton's Style

With the Royal Wedding just two days away and everybody talking about the event, I could not resist in dedicating a post on Kate's style. Although in her everyday life, her style is quite normal (I don't wait to describe it as boring, please don't make me) in special occasions her style impresses me a lot! Her blue Issa London dress that she wore on their engagement announcement was sold out immediately! I guess fashionistas all over the world wanted to have a bit of her glamour, since Diana's 18-carat sapphire and diamond ring is not soooo affordable! Vanity Fair named Kate a Style Icon in 2008, her favorite brands are Issa London and Mulberry and of course she adores Philip Treacy hats. Who doesn't anyway?
Since I'm a huge fan of white, I simply loved the Reiss dress she wore (and the Links of London earrings) on their 1st official portrait by Mario Testino!

In some cases, Fairytales come true, right?

Fashion Illustrations

I adore looking upon sketches of clothes. Each designer and his/her unique style of drawing, what afterwards will be the real thing, walking down the runway, displayed in the boutiques, ending up in the closet of a fashion dreamer...
