Chanel S/S 2012

Karl Lagerfeld said he wanted lightness for this collection, the setting in the Grand Palais, where the show took place, fully remind us the amazing undersea world with sea shapes, corals, shells and sea horses. In the 80+ outfits that Karl showed, pastel colors, black, white, prints and sequins were spotted. Not to mention the appearence of only flat boots and sandals (being a huge flat fan i loved the no heel approach), mother-of-pearl shimmer, pearls instead of belts, boxy and oversized tweet jackets.

Florence Welch in a shell sang "What Water Gave Me". And walked the runway with Karl in the end of the show. I really have to say that i liked this collection (because I love pastels) more that the Winter 2012 one, it was more aggresive, this one is more representative of the Chanel House.
